Terms and Conditions – 2015
The latest terms and conditions will be published on the website carpandcatsfrance.co.uk. Variations to T&C’s will apply whenever published irrespective of the terms in force at the time of booking.
1 On receipt of your booking form and deposit, we will reserve your fishing holiday and your booking is accepted for all people named on the booking form.
2 The completed booking must name all persons in your party (including nonanglers).
3 A copy of your booking form (providing you have paid the non-refund-able deposit) is confirmation of your booking. You will e issued a booking reference number, it will look something like this Smith 120611 B1. This number must be quoted by any members of your party when contacting us.
4 If paying by card you will receive a confirmation email from PayPal which is your proof of payment to us. If paying direct into our bank your bank statement will be your proof of payment to us.
5 The person signing the booking form confirms they are responsible for the booking and for ensuring all others in the party have read and agreed to the Fishing Rules. A copy of the rules will be sent as an attachment with your copy of the booking form as are these Terms & Conditions.
6 The balance of the trip must be paid within 10 weeks of the date of your trip. NO REMINDER WILL BE SENT.
7 If you book within 10 weeks of departure you must pay the total cost of your fishing at the time of booking.
8 If we do not receive full payment in accordance with the above requirement we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In this event you will forfeit any deposit made and be subject to a cancellation charge as though there had been a cancellation.
9 In the event you cancel your booking (in writing from the person who signed the booking form) the following cancellation charges will apply:
11 weeks or more – deposit
10 weeks or less – the total cost
10 The holiday is for the persons shown on the booking form only (please notify us of any changes).
11 No *pets unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking. If agreed then owners must clean up after the pet.
12 Dads & Lads
13 This is a special concession is only available for an adult plus a junior (under the age of 16 at the start date of your trip). Proof of age on arrival may be asked for. This concession is based upon the 2 anglers sharing a swim with 4 rods – excess rods (except a float rod for catching live baits) are not allowed. If excess rods are used there will be an extra charge (see rules).
14 The facilities of the mobile home are for the use only of those named persons shown on the booking form.
15 The mobile swim is now part of the mobile garden area and is in addition to your paid swim(s) on the long bank (or any other free swim at the venue). Only guests that have paid to fish may fish the garden swim.
16 No smoking in the mobile home (a cleaning charge of €50 will be deducted from the deposit if you or anyone is seen smoking inside it).
17 No pets in the mobile home (even if it has been agreed you can take a pet).
18 No fishing tackle to be stored in the mobile home.
19 No bait or feed to be stored in the mobile home fridge.
20 A £200 or 200 Euro breakage\cleaning CASH deposit is required on arrival and refunded on day of departure provided the mobile home is in the same clean and tidy condition as when the hire commenced and with no breakages.
21 All passport, visa and health certificate requirements are your responsibility.
22 we accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred if any of your documents are not in order.
23 British passport holders are advised that they should hold a full 10-year British passport with at least 3 months unexpired term beyond the travel date.
24 Non-British passport holders should check at their consulate for French visa requirements.
25 We advise all clients to have an appropriate travel/Holiday/Breakdown cover Insurance Policy in force for the period of the holiday and are advised to have

26 We reserve the right immediately to terminate the trip if we or any other appropriate person in authority judge your behaviour to be likely to cause, offence, discomfort, harm (or the risk of harm) to our staff, other clients or any
other person or property. In this event, our contractual obligations under these conditions will terminate immediately and a cancellation fee will apply and we
will not be liable to you for any refund or compensation or any costs, loss or damage which you may incur.
27 We will not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following:-
strikes, riots, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather problems to transport, closure of ports, weather conditions or any other event(s) beyond our control.
